He has extensive retail automotive experience as well as consulting to major auto dealer groups and manufacturers. Rich is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Vermont to be near his family.

    Dave Lewis was the second generation owner-operator of Lewis Motors until recently selling the company to the locally owned Shearer Automotive Group.

    Dave is a graduate of Norwich University, and lives with his wife Karyn, his two children Sarah and Alex, and his two American Bulldogs.

    Dave is now a partner with his friend Bill Shearer, and works as a Consultant and Special Projects Manager.

    Judy has been married for over 35 years to her husband Steven. Their son Joseph lives with his wife Diane and their three children, Damion, Elizabeth and Jack in South Burlington. Judy's daughter Joanna lives with her husband Ched and their two children Andrew and Emma in Colchester. Judy has been working with Shearer for about 11 1/2 years and adds so much to the dealership. Judy and her daughter own a Jazzercise center in Burlington and Judy has also been a fitness instructor for several years. In Judy's spare time she enjoys reading.

    Mark Benoit has been in the car business in Burlington for well over 25 years, and has been our Acura Sales Manager since the franchise was added here in 1995.  Customers appreciate his soft spoken manner and his aversion to playing "car dealer games" with his customers.  Recently he took on added responsibilities as co-manager of our used car department.  Mark is an excellent golfer, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.

    Before Randy started his career in the auto industry he spent 8 years in banking and 32 in retail!

    Randy moved to Vermont from Dallas, TX with his wife Cindy to 'live the good life'!

    I started here at Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen in Mid September 2011!

    I grew up in Bethlehem, Penn. and graduated from Delaware Valley College.

    I retired from the Florida Dept. of Agriculture, and now live in Vermont with my wife. My wife is a registered nurse, and I have two children. My daughter lives in D.C and works as a School Teacher, my son also lives in D.C. and works as a Technical Writer.

    In my spare time I enjoy Auto Racing, Collecting Antique Radios, and Amateur (ham) Radio. A fun fact: myself, my wife, and my two children all drive Volkswagens!

    Greg grew up in Peru, New York and has been in the Auto Industry for 16 years. He has worked for Bill McBride Chevrolet-Subaru, Della Honda, Freedom Chevrolet, Heritage Ford-Toyota and now the Shearer Auto Group.

    Tom started with Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen late January 2011. He was born and raised in Reading, Massachusetts, and attended school in Mass. He has been living and working in Pennsylvania for the past 17 years and spent the last five years working for Vision Audi Porsche Volkswagen in Leesport, Pa. Tom enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, and has played baseball for most of his adult life! He also enjoys cooking, gardening, and hiking the Appalachian Trail. He?s looking forward to hiking the Long Trail! Tom is the father of two, and a Grand father of two. Tom is also a Real Estate Agent with a license in Penn.

    Dean is truly the "Dean of Shearer Audi/VW," having worked here since 1974.  He started as a mechanic, but for the last 25 years has served as Parts Manager and also as one of our technology managers. Dean grew up and attended school in Burlington. He has one son, and a new granddaughter. His hobbies include photography, golf, old movies and collecting model cars.

    Bob lives in Colchester and has been in the Auto body business for many years. That helps him make sure we have pristine vehicles to sell to our customers. Bob is also the only sales person who can actually dismantle and reassemble any vehicle at this dealership. Bob enjoys to cook, play cards, and help organize his neighborhood pig roast. He also jumps in Lake Champlain for the Penguin Plunge and Special Olympics every year.

    Rick has over nine 9 year's experience with the sales team at Audi South Burlington. He recently took some time off in the summer to spend time with his family, but now he is back! This time he is with us across the lot at Shearer Acura, and we are thrilled to have him on our team. Rick moved up to Vermont from Boston in the 80's, and has 12 year's experience in the gourmet food business. He loves to ski, play guitar, rock climb, cook, ride motorcycles, and wants to learn how to hang glide! Once in the food industry rick sold 8000 cans of cocoa in 6 minutes! Rick has proven himself as a great salesmen in a variety of business areas, and the Shearer team welcomes him to Acura!

    Robert has been at our dealership now for three years. He grew up in Western New York but finished high school at the People's Academy in Morrisville. Robert went to Champlain College and currently lives with his wife Dee and 6 year old son, Noah, in Fairfax. He enjoys spending time with Noah, fishing, skiing, and cooking.

    OK, so you need to schedule an appointment for your Acura, or you need to ask someone a technical question?  Jay is your man!  Pleasant, and above all patient, Jay is the main reason that the Shearer Acura service department is rated #1 for customer satisfaction in the entire Northeast region. Jay grew up in Ferrisburgh VT, and now lives in Essex Jct. with his wife, cat and dog. In his spare time, Jay enjoys anything having to do with mountain bikes, motorcycles, and video games.

    Peter grew up in Shelburne, Vermont and attended CVU. He's been working here for 3 1/2 years and certainly never has a dull moment! Peter is a crew chief on his brother's race car that races at Thunder Road in Barre, VT and other local race tracks throughout New England and Canada. The've been successful and won several races and championships in 2003. Peter enjoys working on race cars and playing video games online where Josh cheats.

    Keith grew up in Newfane, Vermont and moved to Burlington to attend UVM where he earned a BA in Psychology. Keith met his wife after college and they currently live in Shelburne. Keith enjoys working on old Volkswagens and Porsches, fixing up his house, golfing, and hiking with his dog. Keith is also Brewing beer in his basement!

    Matt has come back to our Acura service team!

    He grew up in Burlington, joined the Military, and got out two years ago. He currently lives in South Burlington.

    Matt enjoys weight training, and running. He loves the performance aspect of vehicle and making them fast. Matt says "I can diagnose and repair anything...as well as make it fast...oh yeah...I'm kind of a big deal!"

    David was born and raised in Vermont. He enjoys working on his car and photography. One day Dave hope's to own his own customization shop. It's rare to see David's car with the same pair of wheels on it for more than a week. If it's customizable, David is putting his own artistic spin on it. David attended Wyotech Automotive School, and enjoys being around cars as much as he possibly can.

    Mike started for Shearer Automotive at our Chevy store April of 2011. He began working at Shearer Acura in November of 2011.

    Mike grew up in Burlington and now lives in South Burlington with his three children and Fiance! Mike enjoys playing Basketball and says that he has never enjoyed a job this much, and that's a great feeling!

    Josh went to MMU and E.HS. Tech. for Forestry. He currently lives in Richmond. Josh enjoys just being outside and racing his WRX! He is proud to say that he reconditioned the first Nissan Skyline GTR in Vermont!

    She grew up in Northshore of Boston, and moved to Vermont when her father purchased the Chrysler dealership in South Burlington in 1981. She graduated from South Burlington HS, Vermont and attended UVM.

    She currently lives in Williston with her husband, Jason and her two boys Jackson and Connor. She enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, spending her weekends with her family and friends, visiting Addison, VT where her in-laws have a Dairy Farm, and riding bikes with her family.

Holly's loves of her life are her two grandson's, Jackson and Jude!  Holly 's other passions are riding her Harley, Jazzercise, traveling, singing, dancing, bowling, visiting the ocean, spending time with family and friends, laughing, having fun and being passionate of life!

Whitney grew up in Richmond, VT and graduated from Mount Mansfield Union High School in 2000. Her husband John and she were married in July 2004. They have a 3 year old son, Riley and they live in Colchester. Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, Jazzercise, and being on the lake.

    Tim grew up in the town of New Haven with his four brothers and five sisters. He went to Mt. Abe high school and has worked as a Landscaper for the past 20 years. Tim has enjoyed sports since he was in school. he plays softball, shooting pool and bowling. Tim also enjoys chainsawing, working outdoors on firewood, and snowmobiling in the winter. Tim has two King Charles Spaniels, Roy and Athena.

    Chip was born in New Jersey and moved to Southern Vermont with his family in 1971. He attended Bellows Falls Union High School in Bellows Falls Vermont, moved to Burlington in 1980 and has lived there ever since. Chip joined the Shearer Auto group in June 2010. He began his career in cars in 1989 in sales and since has worked in every department at a car dealership.He now gets to combine his enthusiasm of cars with his forte in computers! When Chip isn't saving the day here at work he enjoys sailing, snowboarding, cycling, photography, motorcycles, and of course computers!

    I was born and raised in Colchester VT, graduated CHS in 1995 and attend CCV part-time. When I'm not working for Shearer Acura Audi Volkswagen I am busy coaching Hunt Middle School Field Hockey (in the fall), playing field hockey in an adult league (year-round), going to school, and being a full-time mom to my 4 year old son Noa! 2011 is a HUGE year for me, I'm getting married in May, and am running The Burlington Key Bank Marathon the weekend after, and the Shelburne 1/2 marathon in the fall.
